hOW MUCH CAN I BORROW?
As a non-resident buyer the maximum you can borrow today is 85% of the property price/value excluding all fees. If you are a French tax resident with income in France (excluding rental income) this can sometimes go up to 100%. This is also dependent on your nationality, country of residence, income and existing mortgages and loans.
What are the current rates?
The rates depend on the LTV (loan to value), the type of property you are buying and the area you are buying in. At present the maximum rates for a 20 year term are 1,95% for a capped variable rate mortgage (indexed with a fixed margin over Euribor3M) or 2,25% for a full term fixed rate mortgage.

WHY USE A FRENCH BASED BROKER RATHER THAN A UK BASED BROKER?
As a French based broker we are regulated in France and therefore have more bank partnerships especially with local banks than a UK broker can ever have. Most French Banks won't work with a foreign brokers which means their offer will be more limited than ours.
are interest only mortgages available in france?
Yes there are interest only mortgages available in France however they are only available to clients who have good level of assets other than the main home.
