hOW MUCH CAN I BORROW?
As a non-resident buyer the maximum you can borrow today is 85% of the property price/value excluding all fees. If you are a French tax resident with income in France (excluding rental income) this can sometimes go up to 100%. This is also dependent on your nationality, country of residence, income and existing mortgages and loans. Please beware that at present the minimum borrowing for an 85% mortgage is 300 000 Euros. For a 70% mortgage there can be a minimum depending on the bank but we can only offer this is some areas of France like French Alps and French Riviera.

WHY USE A FRENCH BASED BROKER RATHER THAN A UK BASED BROKER?
As a French based broker we are regulated in France and therefore have more bank partnerships than a UK broker can ever have. Most French Banks won't work with a foreign brokers which means their offer will be more limited than ours.

Yes there are interest only mortgages available in France however they are only available to clients who have good level of assets other than their main home. The maximum LTV is 75% and the term 14 years and minimum mortgage is 350 000 Euros.
I PAID CASH! CAN I POSTFINANCE THE PROPERTY?
If you have just bought a property and paid cash it is possible to apply for post finance of the property up to 6 month after the purchase.
Which nationalities can be financed
This depends on different points like the company you work for, your work contract, your passport, your visa or work permit. We mainly finance clients from UK, Europe and USA but there can be exceptions to this especially if you work for a multinational company so please contact us.
